Robert John Mezquiti is the founding principal of Studio Autoforma~
Mezquiti is a graduate from Columbia University’s prestigious Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation. His sensibility and intuition for design are drawn from his experience in the offices of, Cmmnwlth, Archi-tectonics & Xerifotarch as well as his apprenticeships with Digital Fabrication powerhouse, Associated Fabrication & Marketing and Advertising gurus TKO Advertising.
Mezquiti is also co-founder with V. Kaleb Canales of Assist 13, a non-profit group focussed on the positive growth and development of young athletes through Basketball and community outreach.
His work has exhibited internationally including; Vienna’s MAK Center for the Arts, The New Orleans African-American Museum, El Museo Cultural de Santa Fe, The San Francisco Museum of Modern Art and The Art Institute of Chicago. His undergraduate work was featured in AD, issue: Collective Intelligence in Design.
