: NATIONAL ENDOWMENT FOR THE ARTS

Studio Autoforma, will participate in the Your Town: The Citizens’ Institute on Rural Design Workshop. Which is a leadership initiative funded by the National Endowment for the Arts and coordinated by the Department of Landscape Architecture at the University of Syracuse, New York in partnership with preservation consultant Shelly Mastran of Virginia Tech. Other attending faculty included, but were not limited to Maggie Valentine, Dr. Richard Tangum, Jeff Speck and John LaMotte.

: RICE REVIEW / SEAN LALLY STUDIO

Sean Lally’s Final Review will be on Thursday December 04th. Jury will include Eva Franch, Troy Shaum, Dina Krunic, Robert Mezquiti, as well as other visiting faculty and invited guests. Sean Lally is an Assistant Professor and Director of Materials and Energies Lab at The Rice School of Architecture, as well as principal of W-E-A-T-H-E-R-S.

: UT REVIEW / KEVIN ALTER STUDIO

Kevin Alter’s Midterm Review will be on Monday October 20th. The studio is focusing on a small “Reflection Spa”, to be located in Austin, Texas. Jury will include Kevin Alter, Nik Nikolov, Robert Mezquiti, and a few other visiting faculty. Kevin Alter is the Academic Director for Architectural Programs at The University of Texas, as well as principal of Alter Studio.
